⚠️Design in the AI age | How to differentiate when everyone looks the same
The competitive advantage is shifting from the feature (AI code generation) to the implementation and design of that feature.
Alert, important, I think! These a are screenshots from a book that is a must read i.m.o for every product manager, designer and marketer:
AI can make every product looks like the same so the question is, if feature development gets very easy how can you differentiate? For parts of that answer checkout the screenshots below.

📖Gemini the art of prompting: a prompt guide for strategists and creatives
Although these guides become obsoleet usually quite fast, I share it here anyway as I think it can be useful to understand LLM’s better.

📮A great collection of B2B ad examples
I am always at the lookout for great ad examples and now I stumbled upon this website that has a collection of B2B Ad examples. Great work from Andrea and Niko and smartly done as it probably generates them lots of leads themselves.
You can even zoom in on ads and get the “breakdown”. Very much worth a bookmark and regular visit.
🇺🇸 Amazon's patent reveals how Alexa+ will transform product discovery
Amazon Alexa+ is coming and it’s coming for free to Amazon Prime subscribers. It’s important to understand how things will work and how it will change consumer behavior and how you can optimize to make sure your products stand out. This article helps in understanding that.
"This is Alexa voice technology and Rufus product intelligence coming together for one unified product shopping experience,"
The technology enables Alexa+ to handle broad, category-level questions that previous voice assistants couldn't address effectively. Rather than just responding to specific product queries, the system can now process questions like "How long are pocket knives?" or "Do jeans shrink after washing?" by aggregating data across multiple products.
User Query Processing: The system analyzes questions using named entity recognition to identify key product categories and attributes
Data Collection & Analysis: It then finds relevant products, extracts their attributes, and determines which product characteristics are most relevant to the question
Answer Generation: Finally, it aggregates data from multiple products and uses templates to create natural, conversational responses
So it only gets more important to understand how to optimize product listings for conversational search (for example, not just stating a plate is plastic, but that it is "dishwasher safe plastic), or to have great -and a lot of reviews- on your products.

🇨🇳 🇸🇦 Meituan expands to Saudi Arabia
Food delivery in China is great. It’s fast, cheap and everywhere. You can even use Meituan to order food via a drone like I did and wrote about here.
Now Meituan is expanding to Saudi Arabia. I think it is very interesting to see how these (innovative) Chinese companies expand and localize.
Since Keeta launched in Saudi Arabia last October, it has taken 10% of the Saudi food delivery market in terms of order volume.
Due to the stress in the local economy, many Chinese companies are starting to realize that it is promising to replicate their successful business model in China to other places.
A little off topic, but this news article, made me think of this great video from Mamahuhu on the “the first food delivery guy in China”. I wonder how the Saudi video is going to look like.

🪙Didi on USD stablecoins
I think Didi might be right. Stablecoins might very well, be the future on international commerce and that most likely will be the USD stable coin. It’s the dollar revived in e-blockchain form.

🏤Email marketing benchmark 2025
It’s that time of the year again. The email marketing benchmark is out. Nowadays not anymore as a PDF but as an interactive chart powered by Microsoft BI. Not the most user friendly one but it does the job and you can filter for your industry. Unfortunately I cannot share the direct link, you need to subscribe but it works with every email and are just a few form fields.

That’s it for today, I hope you liked it, I enjoyed writing it. Thank you for liking and subscribing.
