🇨🇳 Air Coffee: get coffee or food delivered by drone in Shenzhen
I recently revisited Shenzhen, and during a walk through Shenzhen Central Park, I stumbled upon something quite futuristic: a drone delivery station.
The process is straightforward. You start by scanning a QR code, which opens up a menu of options - from KFC meals to, in our case, a simple cup of coffee. After placing the order, you find a spot to sit and enjoy the park. The wait was about 30 minutes. Watching the drone navigate its way through the park, finally descending with our coffee, was great! Really convenient!
The package delivered can folded up and recycled in a box next to the drone delivery station.
Drone delivery is a great example of integration between an on and offline store.
All a very fun -and convenient- experience and the app interface is also very clear (even if you do not read Mandarin). App interfaces in China are very interesting, I think, we can learn a lot from them.
🇪🇺 EU: Innovate first, regulate (maybe) later
Having traveled to many countries and having contacts around the world, I can safely say, Europe is not on the right path if it comes to technology. I am not the only one who thinks so. I fully support this initiative from levelsio. A manifesto to get more innovative in Europe. That’s why I share it, initiatives like this are very much needed.

🔍The Role of SEO in making branding understood by search engines and AI.
Establishing a strong brand presence online has always been crucial, but the rise of AI has made it even more essential. Search engines and AI-driven platforms now prioritize recognizable brands by analyzing factors like brand mentions, consistent use of logos, and user engagement.
This article dives in this topic, I think a must read for every product manager or SEO-er.
A brand is a distinctive identity that includes the name, symbol, design, values and reputation associated with a product, service or organization, designed to differentiate it in the market and create a psychological and emotional bond with consumers.
The first trial: Knowledge Graph and structured data.
Is our brand in the Knowledge Graph?
If so, how? Is the data complete or not? Is it correct or not?
The second trial: Branded Queries.
Very often branded queries are taken for granted since generic queries are those on which much more attention is paid.
Yet, they should not be taken lightly because, even if in many cases our site will rank in a more than evident way, they can offer us insights on how and what people are searching for in association with our brand.
In the context of international SEO, then, the analysis of branded queries can be an important source of the interests of the local market that we are targeting.
The third trial: Branded Awareness.
With Google rapidly transforming from a search engine to a portal, the competition for visibility is increasingly fierce. Now it’s not just about getting “visibility” but getting brand and distinctive visibility capable of not only attracting clicks but also generating impact in the memory of those who search.
The fourth trial: repurpose and amplification.
If we create content also for brand awareness, then it is fundamental to share its creation and amplification with our allies aka the marketers of other channels

🇭🇰Hong Kong Kong’s first selfie studio: enabling story’s
On a recent trip to Hong Kong with a friend -new to the city-, we visited 'The Peak' The peak is known for its views of the skyline and Victoria Harbour. What really got my interest, though, was - the 'Selfie Studio-.' I spotted this studio when we went to the roof of the building at the ‘The Peak’ to see some great views.
This selfie studio is a space with various Hong Kong-themed decor setups, small boots actually, where visitors can take selfies or have photos taken. While most are free, there's a premium for some boots, including the option to rent clothes that reflect local culture.
I see opportunities also for brands to adapt such a booth with (retro) products! This enables people to “story tell” brands. By tapping into the human desire to tell stories, This studio turns every visitor into a marketer for Hong Kong or the brands that might adopt such a booth (did not see brands adopting the boots yet).
Fun experience and I even met people who wanted to get a picture with me😂
📖Book snippet: This is strategy from Seth Godin
I was reading Seth Godin’s new book on the plane the other day. It’s a book called "This is strategy: make better plans”, and it emphasizes the distinction between strategy and tactics.
I share two pages of it:

🇨🇳 Naked Eye 3d Digital Out of Home Billboards
Opposite my hotel here at Nanjing Road in Shanghai they have many of these naked eye, 3d digital out of home billboards. I have seen them earlier in China and Japan, but they are still so cool to look at. Everytime I pass them I look up to see if they have a new ad! I took these two pictures:
