🤖Friedberg on AI agents (spoiler, it boosts productivity and jobs)
Positive AI comments from the All-IN guys.
The impact of AI-agents on business.
…The big unlock is not about replacing the easy human tasks….what we are missing is the ability to unlock complex tasks, that are not managable today…I can’t come up with a very grand project today, I need to hire 30 people…but with AI agents I can use smaller groups…suddenly that difficult project becomes a reality..that unlocks a tremondous amount of new employment…
🇹🇭 Thai Commercial: Kwan Toong
Now maybe I shared this earlier, but it is so funny and absurd this commercial that I share it again as I stumbled upon it again today. There is so often so much fun in Thai commercials. Take a look at this one, I am sure you watch it till the end and you remember the message!
📈Amazon Watch: AI agent in the app ‘buy for me’ goes to external sites
I think it’s important to watch trends like this, and to adapt to it, that’s why I share it. If you think a bit creative on these trends you get many ideas for other businesses as well. Riding these waves can give success.
If Amazon doesn’t sell something that users are searching for, the Buy for Me feature will display products that other websites are selling. Then users can select and request to purchase one of these products without ever leaving the Amazon Shopping app.
Behind the scenes, Amazon’s AI shopping agent will visit an external website, select a product that a user requested, and fill out the user’s name, shipping address, and payment details in order to purchase it, according to Amazon.
It’s great that Amazon sticks to it’s principle the everything store by adding this value for their users. Having said that

📈Trend: short drama apps from China to the US to Europe?
This is actually pretty nice, I have been noticing this trend for a while now, and it comes (again) from China: short (drama) apps). Give it a try. I am testing it currently and you can learn a lot from it not only how it works, but als the features and UX in the app, and how to produce such content.
In this pod above they talk about it, but there is more and more info to be found on this topic as well. I’ve put a few links below.
Basically it’s all about real short content (2 minutes or so per episode with a cliffhanger in almost every episode).
In Asia retail brands have already started adopting it and agency’s are creating frameworks for it.
In July, McDonald's China debuted its first short drama, elevating the trend of short drama marketing to unprecedented levels in the market. Short drama (or microdrama) marketing has surged in recent years, turning into a trendy topic in late 2023, and ranking fifth among the top 10 buzzwords in Chinese marketing for the first half of 2024.
Right now, it is still early days for micro-dramas, especially outside of Asia. But as more viewers catch on and competitors take note of what companies like ReelShort are doing, experts said every minute counts in content production as other firms look to jump on the bandwagon.
